You have a right to go to school in Ontario. You do not have to be a permanent resident or a citizen of Canada to go to school.

If you are between the age of 6 and 17, the law in Ontario means that you have to go to school.

Can I open a bank account if I am under 18 years old?
Yes you can! Some banks have rules that say you need your parent’s permission to open a bank account if you are a younger child. But if you are over 13, most banks let you open a bank account.

I am a refugee claimant under 18 years old in Canada on my own and I have no money. How do I get income support?

If you are renting a room, apartment or house in Ontario, you have many rights.

If you are new to Canada and you have nowhere to stay, or if you have lost your housing here, you might need to stay in a shelter for some time. Shelters are places that give people without a home somewhere to stay.
