The Centre for Refugee Children has opened to provide direct settlement services to refugee and migrant children in Ontario, with a specialized focus on ensuring access to justice for unaccompanied and separated children (UASC) who are navigating the refugee claim process or other immigration proceedings. Through its establishment, the Centre will strengthen connections with community organizations and government divisions to improve immigration, child welfare and settlement outcomes for children and families supported by the project.
